In middle school I also took up the flute and by high school I was teaching piano and flute at our local music store. Learning the organ while attending college expanded my abilities and grew my passion to teach and perform. I am currently the accompanist at Chaparral High School, organist for several area churches, and a member of the Colorado Music Teacher's Association.

My performing experience includes organist and pianist for church services and weddings, accompanist for vocal auditions/competitions and church choirs. For 10 years, I was leader and keyboard performer for the 9-person Praise Band and the choir accompanist at a local church. I have been a member of the Windjammers Jazz Orchestra, the Blue 88s jazz group, and a frequent substitute for the Rootin' Tootin' Dixieland Band. I am currently the choir accompanist at Chaparral High School in Douglas County.

I’ve been offering affordable private lessons in Centennial since 1997. I love music of all genres and enjoy sharing my passion for learning and music with my students. From day one, I teach important foundational techniques to help students boost their skills and self-esteem. I teach students of all ages and offer recital opportunities several times a year.
